Press conference draws wide range of candidates

Travis County Republican Party announced its list of 12 filed candidates today, and gave other candidates a chance to introduce themselves to the press and to party officials.

See previous blog post for a list of all candidates who have filed with Travis County GOP. A comprehensive list of all candidates appearing on the ballot will appear next week.

The Travis County Republican Party will introduce 10 candidates [now 12 -- see update below] to the public at a press conference set for 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 15.

While the Redistricting situation is still up in the air and more candidates may yet file for Texas House, Texas Senate, and U.S. Congressional seats, the following candidates have submitted paperwork by the longstanding Dec. 15 deadline and have paid their filing fees.
