Today’s TCRP CD-25 Forum & Straw Poll was a huge success! This afternoon, eight congressional candidates delivered their best stump speech to a crowd more than four hundred strong at the sold-out K-Oaks Clubhouse in Lago Vista. After the speeches were completed, a straw poll was taken. The results of the straw poll are as follows:

Michael Williams: 27.2%
Dave Garrison: 26.8%
Brian Matthews: 19.2%
Wes Riddle: 12.8%
Dianne Costa: 8.4%
Bill Burch: 2.4%
Ralph Pruyn: 2.0%
Chad Wilbanks: 1.2%

In the end, the winner was decided by one vote, illustrating that every vote makes a difference. Congratulations to Michael Williams on his victory today!

TCRP congratulates each and every candidate for their excellent showing today. All candidates demonstrated strong oratorical skill, a passion for conservative principles, and a commitment to creating responsible policy at the Congressional level.

TCRP would also like to thank the North Shore Republican Club, Preston Prunty of Southern Exposure Media Services, our candidate sponsors, elected official sponsors, pianist Reuel Meditz, TCRP volunteers, CD-25 County Chairmen, and event coordinator Mike Dominguez for helping make the CD-25 Forum & Straw Poll a huge success!
