If you have a friendly voice, enjoy interacting with people, and are willing to ask some survey questions, we need you. It is always good to hear what others think is important. It helps us respond to the needs of all Republicans! Are you someone we could call when we need a computer question answered? Could you come to our office when called upon for basic repairs and maintenance? When the need arises for a mature, caring individual to help care for our future Republicans, we know you are the one to call. Often we need babysitting during events and on election days. Can we count on you? Do you have a home or business where you could host a party/ event or support to support a specific candidate? You don't need a mansion or a million dollars just a willing heart! Do you enjoy speaking to local groups, clubs, schools, or professional organizations to inform them of a GOP issue or candidate? If so, sign up here. Help is always needed to drive voters to the polls and distribute election materials. This applies only to election day. Everyday office work seems to always be in demand with so little time to get it all done. Help us get caught up and enjoy meeting fellow Republicans at our office. A friendly voice on the phone is a great asset. Can you offer your smiling voice to help us call others to action? This is the grassroots of our Party. Precinct Chairmen are organized by districts throughout the county. A Precinct Chairman is responsible for their neighborhood's Get-Out-the-Vote campaign. This is an elected position, but there are many vacancies. Are you interested? Be an active participant on the day of the election by knowing the rules and responsibilities of the election procedure. You will be monitoring the polls and representing the Party. A vital part of our success is keeping current with names and addresses of Travis County voters. If you like details and chasing down names/address this is for you. It is always fun to meet your neighbors or just get in some good exercise time. Help us distribute educational/informative materials. Would you like to help start or actively support an already established GOP club in your local school or college? We have many schools that need leadership! Great for a student who needs to get in additional volunteer hours for school credit. If you like to answer the telephone with a friendly smiling voice, then you are just the right person to help on a regular basis. Mailings need to be folded, stamped, and sorted. Anytime of the year is a good time to get citizens registered to vote. Extra help is especially needed and appreciated in election years. Special language skills are needed. If you enjoy the detail of research on issues, people, or places, then this is the job for you. We will provide the topic if you can do the leg work.
